Puff pastry baked with ham and aromatic additions. A delicious and quick snack.
Ingredients
- Puff pastry – 1 sheet
- Cooked ham – 45 g
- Parsley – 20 g
- Black pepper – 0.5 teaspoon
- Salt – 0.5 teaspoon
- 18% cream – 5 tablespoons
- Garlic clove – 1 piece
Preparation
Step 1: Prepare the Cream Mixture Finely chop the parsley and transfer it to a bowl. Add the cream and chopped garlic clove. Season with salt and pepper, then mix thoroughly.
Step 2: Prepare the Puff Pastry Unroll the puff pastry sheet and spread the cream mixture evenly over the entire surface. Place the ham on top. Roll up the pastry into a log along the longer edge and transfer it to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Step 3: Form the Braid Using sharp scissors, make cuts at an angle every 2 cm along the length of the pastry, without cutting all the way through. Fold each piece alternately to the left and right, creating a braided pattern.
Step 4: Bake the Braid Bake the braid in an oven preheated to 200°C for a maximum of 25 minutes. After baking, let it cool slightly before serving. Serve while still warm.
