Baked Peaches

A delicious Italian-style dessert that any sweet tooth will love. Its flavor pairs perfectly with vanilla ice cream.

Ingredients

  • Sugar: 50 g
  • Eggs: 2
  • Butter: 40 g
  • Butter: 1 tablespoon
  • Flaked almonds: 25 g
  • Peach halves in syrup: 820 g
  • Amaretto liqueur: 4 tablespoons
  • Vanilla ice cream: 200 g
  • Butter cookies: 100 g

Preparation

  1. Drain the peaches. Sprinkle the peach halves with 2 tablespoons of amaretto and arrange them in a greased baking dish with the convex side down.
  2. Place the cookies in a freezer bag and seal tightly. Crush the cookies in the bag using a rolling pin. Lightly crush the almonds. Mix both ingredients with butter, egg yolks, sugar, and the remaining amaretto.
  3. Spread the mixture over the peaches and bake in an oven preheated to 180°C for 25 minutes. Serve hot or warm with vanilla ice cream.
