Ingredients
Batter
- Egg – 1 piece
- Powdered sugar – 1 teaspoon
- Milk – 200 ml
- Salt – a pinch
- Coconut flakes – 1 tablespoon
- All-purpose flour – 110 g
Cranberry Jam
- Honey – 2 tablespoons
- Grated orange zest – 1 tablespoon
- Orange juice – 250 ml
- Dried cranberries – 200 g
Apples
- Red apples – 4 pieces
- Powdered sugar – 5 g
- Rapeseed oil – 500 ml
- Lemon juice – 25 ml
Preparation
Batter Mix all the ingredients together.
Cranberry Jam Cook all the ingredients in a saucepan over low heat until the mixture thickens into jam consistency.
Apples Core the peeled apples (keeping them whole), then slice them into slices about 5-7 mm thick, ensuring each slice has a hole in the middle. Drizzle with lemon juice.
Heat oil in a pan, dip apple slices in the batter, and place them in hot oil. Fry until golden brown. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Serve with cranberry jam.
