A classic pizza with tuna, onion, mozzarella, and olives. Aromatic and appetizing dish in Italian style!
Ingredients
- Red onion: 2
- Sugar: 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper: 1 pinch
- Mozzarella: 2
- Olive oil: 2 tablespoons
- Green olives: 125 g
- Tomato sauce: 200 g
- Salt: 1 pinch
- Tuna in oil: 75 g
- Red wine: 50 ml
- Garlic cloves: 2
Preparation
Peel the onions. Slice half an onion into thin rings, and dice the rest. Peel and chop the garlic. Sauté the diced onion with chopped garlic in hot olive oil. Add crushed tomatoes and wine, season with salt, pepper, and sugar, and simmer over low heat for 6-8 minutes, then let it cool slightly.
Drain the tuna, mozzarella, and olives. Slice the mozzarella. Spread a thin layer of sauce on the pizza and top with mozzarella. Arrange tuna, olives, and onion rings on top, and bake as indicated in the basic recipe.
