A fantastic alternative to regular store-bought chips. Prepare a snack that is healthy and delicious.
Ingredients
- Apple – 1 piece
- Ground cinnamon – a pinch
- Lemon juice – 1 tablespoon
Preparation
- Wash the apples thoroughly. Cut them into fairly thin slices and arrange them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, or even better, arrange the apple slices on a silicone baking mat.
- Lightly sprinkle the apple slices with cinnamon.
- Place the baking sheet in an oven preheated to 80 degrees Celsius with the convection setting on. Bake the apples for about 1 hour, then gently flip all the slices over and continue baking for another 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the thickness of the chips.
- After the designated time, leave the chips in the oven with the door slightly ajar for about half an hour. By then, the chips should be crispy.
