Begin by preparing the glass for serving the cocktail. Chill it in the freezer for a few minutes or fill it with ice and set aside while preparing the drink. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice, then pour in all the ingredients. Use a jigger or a kitchen measuring cup to measure the correct amounts, ensuring the proper recipe balance and taste.
Vigorously shake everything in the shaker, then strain it into the pre-chilled glass (without ice) using a cocktail strainer. Garnish the cocktail with an orange twist.
