Potatoes with cottage cheese, and mackerel on top? Karol likes to surprise, so you must try this recipe! A grilled dish like no other!
Ingredients
Cottage Cheese
- White pepper – 1 pinch
- Black pepper – 1 pinch
- Garlic clove – 1 piece
- Natural yogurt – 150 g
- Sun-dried tomato oil – 1 teaspoon
- Grated lemon zest – 1 tablespoon
- Lemon juice – 25 ml
- Salt – 1 pinch
- Fresh basil – 5 g
- Fat cottage cheese – 200 g
Additional
- Spring onion – 1 piece
- Onion chive – 24 g
- Smoked mackerel – 50 g
Potatoes
- Black pepper – 1 pinch
- Garlic clove – 1 piece
- Dried marjoram – 0.5 teaspoon
- Butter – 2 tablespoons
- Baby potatoes – 400 g
- Olive oil – 2 tablespoons
- Salt – 1 pinch
Preparation
Step 1: Season and Grill the Potatoes Slice the potatoes into 1 cm thick slices. Place a double sheet of aluminum foil on the countertop and drizzle with olive oil. Arrange the potato slices on half of the foil, and place garlic slices and thin pieces of butter on top of the potatoes.
Season with marjoram, salt, and pepper. Cover the potatoes with the other half of the foil and wrap from each side. Grill for about 10 minutes.
Cut the onion in half and place it on the grill.
Step 2: Prepare the Cottage Cheese Pour the yogurt into a bowl, season with salt and pepper. Crumble the cottage cheese into the yogurt. Add finely chopped garlic, lemon zest and juice, and sun-dried tomato oil. Mix well. Season with white pepper and chopped basil leaves.
Step 3: Serve the Potatoes Cut the mackerel in half lengthwise and remove the skin. Place cottage cheese on the cooked potatoes, mackerel pieces, chopped chives, and grilled spring onion on top.
