Watermelon Cake

A cake made from watermelon? Yes! It’s a great idea that successfully replaces the traditional cake. Try it out and surprise everyone with this unusual solution!


  • Watermelon – 1 piece
  • Sugar – 2 tablespoons
  • Strawberries – 300 g
  • Marshmallow – 20 g
  • Mascarpone cheese – 250 g
  • Fresh mint – 2 g
  • Full-fat cottage cheese – 250 g


Step 1: Mixing Mascarpone with Cottage Cheese Mix mascarpone cheese into a smooth mixture with cottage cheese and sugar or agave syrup, then chill.

Step 2: Peeling the Watermelon Meanwhile, peel the watermelon and carve out a cylinder from the flesh. Pat dry with a kitchen towel. Spread the mascarpone cream on the surface of the watermelon.

Step 3: Decorating the Cake with Marshmallows and Fruits Cut the marshmallows in half lengthwise and use them to decorate the edges of the cake, pressing them into the cream alternating with fruits, such as blueberries. Brown the marshmallows with a culinary torch until golden. Arrange the remaining fruits on top of the cake and garnish with mint leaves.
