Stuffed Dates in Chocolate

A fully natural, sweet, and vegan snack. Perfect for picnics or parties.

Ingredients

  • Blanched almonds – 20 g
  • Dark chocolate (>70% cocoa) – 100 g
  • Dried dates – 10 pieces
  • Tahini sesame paste – 2 tablespoons

Preparation

Step 1: Stuff the Dates Carefully slit each date and remove the pit. Fill each date with a little tahini paste and insert an almond in place of the pit. Place the prepared dates in the freezer for about 15 minutes.

Step 2: Decorate the Dates Break the chocolate into smaller pieces and melt it using a double boiler. Dip the chilled dates into the melted chocolate and transfer them onto baking paper. Serve the sweet treats once the chocolate has solidified.
