Ingredients
- Canned tomatoes – 400 g
- Vegetable broth – 100 ml
- Onion – 1 piece
- Garlic cloves – 2 pieces
- Olive oil – 40 ml
- Truffle oil – 20 ml
- Fresh basil – 4 g
- Salt – 2 g
- Black pepper – 0.5 g
Preparation
Step 1: Prepare the Vegetables Peel the onion and garlic, then finely chop them. Also, chop the basil and set it aside in a small bowl.
Step 2: Saute the Ingredients Heat a pan and pour olive oil onto it, then sauté the onion and garlic. Once the vegetables become translucent and their aroma fills the kitchen, add the broth and stir.
Step 3: Add the Tomatoes When the broth slightly reduces, add the tomatoes and mix.
Step 4: Season Season the tomatoes and other ingredients with salt and pepper, stir, and let them simmer over low heat for 10-15 minutes.
Step 5: Finish the Sauce Add the basil to the visibly reduced sauce and mix. Let it simmer for another 4-5 minutes, and it’s ready. You can add the ravioli directly into the sauce, and after transferring to a plate, drizzle with truffle oil. Just a few drops will be enough to give the dish an incredible flavor.
