One-pan English Breakfast

This One-Pan English Breakfast recipe is perfect for those busy mornings when you want a hearty meal but don’t have the time or energy to clean up. It’s all cooked in one pan, which means less washing up! You can easily adapt this recipe to suit your tastes. Don’t like mushrooms? Swap them for bell peppers. Want to add more protein? Add some diced ham or turkey.


  • 4 good quality pork chipolatas
  • 4 strips of smoked back bacon
  • 140g button mushrooms
  • 6 eggs, beaten
  • 8 cherry tomatoes, halved
  • handful of grated cheese (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped chives

Method of preparation:

Heat a large non-stick frying pan over a medium heat. Add the chipolatas and bacon and cook for 5 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned.

Push the sausages and bacon to one side of the pan, then add the mushrooms. Cook for a few more minutes until they start to brown.

Pour the beaten eggs into the frying pan, then add the tomatoes, cheese (if using) and chives. Cover the pan with a lid or piece of foil and cook on a low heat for 5-6 minutes until the eggs are set.
