An original recipe for a simple and tasty dinner.
Ingredients
- Poppy seeds – 250 grams
- Egg noodles – 0.5 kilograms
- Orange zest – 200 grams
- Honey – 5 tablespoons
- Raisins – 200 grams
- Butter – 2 tablespoons
Preparation
- Place the poppy seeds in a bowl, pour hot water over them, cover, and let soak for several hours. Then drain and grind them finely using a sieve with small holes.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter, add the poppy seeds, honey, and sauté over low heat for a few minutes. Add the orange zest and raisins, and sauté together for a while.
- Cook the egg noodles in salted water with a little oil according to the package instructions. Once cooked, drain and let cool slightly.
- Combine the cooled noodles with the poppy seed mixture, and gently mix together.
