Baked Penne with Spinach and Ham

A fantastic recipe for delicious homemade baked penne with spinach and ham.


  • Spinach leaves – 1 kilogram
  • Ham – 100 grams
  • Penne pasta – 1/2 package
  • Onion – 1 piece
  • Egg – 1 piece
  • Grated yellow cheese – 100 grams
  • Herb sea salt – a pinch, to taste
  • Ground black pepper – a pinch, to taste
  • Dried garlic – a pinch, to taste


  1. Finely dice the onion. In a large pot, heat oil and sauté the onion until translucent. Rinse the spinach, remove the leaves, and add them to the onion. Cook until most of the water evaporates, and the spinach is almost tender.
  2. Cut the ham into cubes, add a tablespoon of oil to a pan, and sauté the ham. If you have bacon, fry it on a dry pan.
  3. Cook the penne pasta al dente. Beat the egg and add salt, pepper, and dried garlic.
  4. Combine all the ingredients, transfer them to a baking dish. You can sprinkle cheese on top. Cover the dish with foil. Bake at 180°C for about 20 minutes.
