Mango Soup with Ginger and Lime

Soup is a dish where we can encapsulate a wide spectrum of flavors. This time, we serve a mango cream soup in Asian style.


  • Vegetable broth – 300 ml
  • Black pepper – 1 pinch
  • Red chili pepper – 0.5 pc
  • Fresh ginger – 10 g
  • Mango – 2 pcs
  • Milk – 100 ml
  • Oil – 2 tbsp
  • Orange juice – 100 ml
  • Salt – 1 pinch
  • Fresh cilantro – 2 g
  • Lime – 0.5 pc
  • Coconut milk – 300 ml
  • Garlic clove – 1 pc


Peel and dice the mango. Peel the ginger and garlic, then finely chop both ingredients. Cut the red chili pepper into thin slices.

In a pot with a thick bottom, heat a bit of oil. Add ginger, garlic, and chili pepper, and sauté lightly. Add the diced mango, mix. After 3 minutes, pour in the orange juice and vegetable broth. Cover with a lid and simmer for about 10-15 minutes until the mango is completely soft.

Remove the soup from the heat, blend it with a blender into a smooth cream, then add coconut milk and lime juice. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Heat the mixture.

Froth the milk using a milk frother. Finely chop the cilantro.

Serving Pour the soup into bowls, top with a bit of frothy milk, and garnish with cilantro leaves.
