Healthy no-frills fruit sorbet

This sorbet is a fantastic way to indulge in a sweet treat without compromising your health. It’s made with natural fruit and sweeteners, so it’s a guilt-free treat. You have the freedom to choose your favourite fruits and juices to create a personalised flavour that’s all your own. It’s a fun way to experiment with different combinations.


  • 6 cups frozen fruit (such as strawberries, mangoes, raspberries, peaches)
  • 1/4 cup fruit juice (such as orange, pomegranate, pineapple, cherry)
  • 3 tablespoons agave nectar or honey (to mix)
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1 tablespoon agave nectar or honey (to sweeten)

Method of preparation:

In a food processor or high-powered blender, combine the frozen fruit, fruit juice, 3 tablespoons agave nectar or honey, and salt.

Blend until smooth. You may need to stop and stir or push the fruit down a few times to ensure everything is evenly blended.

Taste the sorbet mixture. If it needs more sweetness, add the extra tablespoon of agave nectar or honey and blend again.

Pour the sorbet mixture into a loaf tin or similar container. Smooth over the top with a spatula.

Place in the freezer and freeze for at least 2 hours or until firm.

Once set, scoop into bowls or cones and enjoy!
