Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 packet oreos, crushed
- 1/2 gallon ice cream (cookies & cream or chocolate chip mint)
- hot fudge sauce, to serve
Method of preparation:
In a bowl, combine the melted butter with the crushed Oreos until well mixed.
Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish to form a firm layer.
Allow the ice cream to soften slightly, then spread evenly over the Oreo crust.
Cover and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.
Before serving, let the dessert sit at room temperature for a few minutes to soften slightly.
Cut into squares and drizzle with hot caramel sauce.
