Ingredients
- Sugar – 220 g
- Zucchini – 1 kg
- Red onion – 2 pieces
- Garlic cloves – 4 pieces
- Mustard seeds – 2 teaspoons
- Wine vinegar – 700 ml
- Lemon juice – 2 tablespoons
- Fresh dill – 1 teaspoon
- Water – 200 ml
Preparation
Step 1: Prepare the Ingredients Slice the zucchini. Chop the onion into rings, and the garlic into slices. Sprinkle the zucchini with lemon juice, a pinch of salt, and drain in a sieve.
Step 2: Fill the Jars Layer the garlic, onion, zucchini, and dill in the jars.
Step 3: Pour the Vegetables with Marinade Bring water with spices and vinegar to a boil. Pour the slightly cooled marinade over the zucchini in the jars. Seal the jars and pasteurize for about 10 minutes.
