Easy chicken and stuffing bake


Do you love chicken but need a new recipe? Easy Chicken and Stuffing Bake is a very tasty dish. It is also easy to prepare. Even amateurs can make it.


  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 10.5 oz. can of cream of chicken soup
  • 8 ounces sour cream
  • 1 (1.4-ounce) packet French Onion Soup Mix
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 (6 oz) packet dry stuffing mix
  • 3/4 cup chicken stock
  • 5 tablespoons butter, cut into 8 to 10 pieces
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley, or to taste

Method of preparation:

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and set aside a 9×13 inch baking dish.

In a mixing bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup, sour cream, French onion soup mix and black pepper. Stir until well combined.

Spread half of the soup mixture evenly over the bottom of the prepared casserole dish.

Place the chicken breasts on top of the soup mixture.

In a separate bowl, mix the dry stuffing mix with the chicken stock and stir until the stuffing is moistened.

Spoon the stuffing mixture evenly over the chicken breasts.

Sprinkle the slices of butter over the top of the stuffing.

Cover with aluminium foil and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.

Remove the foil and bake for a further 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the stuffing is golden brown.

Sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley if desired before serving.
