Crunchy bread with tomatoes, mozzarella, basil, and garlic. So delicious that it disappears right after being taken out of the oven.
Ingredients
- Fresh basil: 5 g
- Black pepper: 1 pinch
- Red tomato: 1
- Mozzarella: 1
- Olive oil: 3 tablespoons
- Salt: 1 pinch
- Baguette: 1
- Garlic cloves: 2
Preparation
Slice the baguette diagonally every 1-2 cm (be careful not to cut it all the way through!). Crush and finely chop the garlic. In a small bowl, combine the garlic with olive oil and brush the baguette in the cut areas.
Slice the tomato and drained mozzarella into thin slices. Finely chop the basil. Place a slice of tomato and cheese, and some basil into each cut of the baguette.
Bake the baguette for 15 minutes at 230°C. Serve warm.
