Baguette with Camembert Cheese and Strawberries

Salty cheese, sweet strawberries, aromatic basil, and delicate baguette make for an original French-style sandwich.


  • Baguette – 4 pieces
  • Fresh basil – 5 g
  • Butter – 40 g
  • Black pepper – 1 pinch
  • Camembert cheese – 180 g
  • Strawberry – 200 g


Toast the baguettes. Allow them to cool, then slice them open and spread with butter. Clean the strawberries, slice them, and place on the bottom halves of the baguettes. Sprinkle with freshly ground pepper.

Wash the basil, dry it, and sprinkle the basil leaves over the strawberries. Slice the Camembert cheese thinly, place it on the baguettes, cover with the top halves, and gently press.

You can wrap the baguettes in plastic wrap, then in paper napkins, and take them with you for a snack or picnic.
