Baguette Casserole

Recipe for a baguette casserole with mushrooms, mozzarella, ham, and pickled cucumber.


  • Baguette, 1 medium piece
  • Ham, 100 grams
  • Mild ketchup, 2 tablespoons
  • Mozzarella ball, 1 piece
  • Yellow cheese, 2-3 tablespoons
  • Pickled cucumber, 1 piece
  • Mushrooms, 3-4 pieces
  • Chives, 1 tablespoon


Slice the ham into thin strips after removing the skin.

Grate the cheeses using a coarse grater.

Peel and grate the mushrooms using a coarse grater.

Cut the baguette lengthwise in half. Spread ketchup on each half. Sprinkle with grated mushrooms and press down lightly.

Place yellow cheese and ham on top of the mushrooms. Put it in the oven preheated to 180°C for 10 minutes.

After 10 minutes, take it out and add pickles and mozzarella. Press down lightly. Put it back in the oven for another 5 minutes at 180°C.

Take it out of the oven. Sprinkle with chives and add slices of pickled cucumber.
