Avocado Caprese Salad

Drizzled with a zesty lemon and olive oil dressing and seasoned to perfection, this salad is a celebration of simple ingredients coming together to create a symphony of flavours.


  • 4 medium heirloom tomatoes
  • 3 medium avocados
  • 1 large bunch fresh basil
  • 1 juiced lemon
  • 1 tablespoon organic extra virgin olive oil
  • aged balsamic vinegar, optional
  • Sea salt
  • Freshly ground pepper

Method of cooking:

Slice the heirloom tomatoes and avocados into 1/4 inch thick slices.

Arrange the tomato and avocado slices on a platter in alternating layers, adding fresh basil leaves between each layer.

Drizzle with lemon juice and organic extra virgin olive oil.

If desired, add a few drops of aged balsamic vinegar for extra depth of flavour.

Season to taste with sea salt and freshly ground pepper.
