Almond Meringue with Strawberries and Whipped Cream

Do you love meringues? You must try this recipe! Meringue with toasted almonds, whipped cream, and fresh strawberries is the perfect dessert for special occasions and beyond.


  • Almonds – 130 g
  • Egg whites – 2 pcs.
  • Powdered sugar – 130 g
  • Strawberries – 300 g
  • Heavy cream (30%) – 300 ml
  • Fresh mint – 10 leaves


Step 1: Toast the Almonds Place the almonds on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and toast for about 10 minutes until they turn golden brown. Let them cool and chop them coarsely.

Reduce the oven temperature to 80-100°C and turn on the convection function.

Step 2: Whip the Meringue Whip the egg whites until stiff, gradually adding powdered sugar until the meringue is smooth and glossy. Add the chopped almonds to the finished mixture and mix well.

Step 3: Form the Meringue Layers Draw two circles about 26 cm in diameter on parchment paper. Spread the meringue within the circles.

Step 4: Bake the Meringue Layers Brown the meringue layers using a culinary torch. Place them in the oven and dry at 80-100°C for about 40 minutes. Let the baked layers cool.

Step 5: Decorate the Meringue Whip the cream and spread it on one of the meringue layers. Cut the strawberries into quarters and arrange them on the whipped cream. Break the second meringue layer into medium-sized pieces and place them on top. Garnish with mint leaves.
