A delicious steak sandwich with truffle mayonnaise.
Ingredients
- Bread Slices, 4
- Fried and roasted beef tenderloin, 150 – 200 g
- Lettuce leaves, 4
Truffle mayonnaise
- Mayonnaise, 2 – 3 tablespoons
- Truffle oil, 1 – 2 teaspoons
Mustard sauce
- Whole grain French mustard, 2 tablespoons
- Chili flakes or hot paprika powder, 1 teaspoon or 1/2 teaspoon (to taste)
- Honey, 1 teaspoon
- Extra virgin olive oil or mayonnaise, 1 tablespoon
Preparation
Sear the tenderloin on both sides and finish roasting it in the oven (e.g., as in this recipe). Mix all the truffle mayonnaise and mustard sauce ingredients in separate bowls, adding sea salt and freshly ground pepper.
Spread truffle mayonnaise on two slices of bread and mustard sauce on the other two. Place lettuce and tenderloin slices on the mayonnaise-spread slices, then cover with the mustard-spread bread. Cut in half and serve. Enjoy!
