A snack that can only be described with one word: excellent.
Ingredients
- Puff pastry (1 package)
- Frozen spinach (450 g, or fresh)
- Feta cheese (130 g)
- Garlic (2-3 cloves)
- 18% sour cream (2 tablespoons)
- Yellow cheese (1 piece, grated)
Preparation
- Sauté the spinach in a pan, evaporate the water. Add crushed garlic and crumbled feta cheese. Mix well to combine the ingredients. Add sour cream and cheese, and mix again until well combined. Let the spinach mixture cool until it’s lukewarm.
- Unfold the puff pastry sheet (large sheet 375 g – 50×26 cm), spread the spinach mixture over it, roll it into a log, and cut into slices about 1-1.5 cm wide.
- Place the slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 15-20 minutes until the snails are nicely browned.
