Grilled stuffed chicken breasts are an interesting alternative for a barbecue dish. It will delight guests and family members, perfect for lunch and dinner.
Ingredients
- Chicken breasts: 2 pieces
- Goat cheese: 150 grams
- Olive oil: 2 tablespoons
- Garlic: 2 cloves
- Soy sauce: 1 tablespoon
- Lemon juice: 1 tablespoon
- Chopped fresh thyme: 1 tablespoon
- Fine iodized sea salt: 0.5 teaspoon
- Ground black pepper: 0.3 teaspoon
- Fresh basil: 15 leaves
Preparation
- Prepare the marinade with 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 2 cloves of garlic, soy sauce, lemon juice, and chopped fresh thyme.
- Make a pocket in each of the 2 chicken breasts, season the chicken with salt and pepper, and coat with the marinade, including inside the pocket.
- Stuff each pocket with some goat cheese and whole basil leaves, then secure the meat with 2 toothpicks.
- Leave for 30 minutes until the meat is marinated. Grill the chicken breasts on each side until golden brown, turning the meat several times to ensure it’s cooked through.
