Watermelon and Pomegranate Salad on Pear Carpaccio

Refreshing salad with watermelon, pear, and pomegranate.

Ingredients

  • Watermelon – 0.5 pcs
  • Pomegranate – 1 pc
  • Pear – 3 pcs
  • Maple syrup – 50 g
  • Pecan nuts – 100 g
  • Cherry liqueur – 100 ml

Preparation

Step 1: Slicing the Pears Stuffing the rolls

Wash ripe pears, peel them, and cut into thin slices about 2-3 mm thick. Mix maple syrup and cherry liqueur and pour it over the pears. Leave for about 50-60 minutes.

Step 2: Dicing the Watermelon Grilling the meat

Cut the ripe watermelon into even cubes (about 1 x 1 cm). Wash the pomegranate, remove the seeds, and combine them with the watermelon. Roast the pecans in an oven preheated to 180°C for 5-7 minutes.

Step 3: Arranging the Pear in Liqueur on a Plate Adding fruits to honey

When the pear absorbs the flavor of the liqueur and maple syrup, remove the slices and arrange them in a circle on a plate. Place the watermelon and pomegranate on top of the pears. Drizzle the whole thing with the sauce left over from soaking the pear. Finally, sprinkle with roasted pecans.
