Vesper Martini

Vesper Martini

The Vesper Martini cocktail is an incredible variation of the classic dry Martini, immortalized on the cinematic pages of history as James Bond’s favorite drink under the famous “shaken, not stirred” line. How does the Vesper differ from the classic Martini? Firstly, in our cocktail, we use vodka instead of just gin (as in the case of a Dry Martini). The second difference lies in the preparation – Vesper Martini is shaken in a shaker, not just stirred.

  • 20 ml pure vodka
  • 60 ml gin
  • 10 ml Lillet blanc

Prepare a glass for serving the cocktail – to chill it, fill it with ice and leave it while preparing the drink or place it in the freezer for a few minutes. Pour all the ingredients into a shaker filled with ice and shake. A jigger or kitchen measure will help you measure precise amounts of the ingredients. Strain the prepared cocktail into the chilled glass using a cocktail strainer. The final step to the perfect cocktail is garnish. Decorate the drink with a lemon twist. Enjoy! Tip: If you don’t have a shaker at home, don’t worry. You can easily replace it with a large jar. Fill it with ice, add the ingredients, screw the lid on tightly, and shake. You already know the rest of the steps!
