Ingredients very similar to a mojito, also containing rum as the main alcoholic base. It offers an interesting flavor profile, slightly herbal and quite sweet. Aperol plays a significant role, influencing both the taste and color.
Ingredients (in a 300 ml glass)
- Rum: 40 ml
- Aperol: 20 ml
- Sugar syrup: 15 ml
- Lime syrup: 20 ml
- Fresh mint leaves: a few
- Sparkling water: to top up
- Ice cubes
Preparation
Muddle the mint leaves with lime syrup and sugar syrup. Then, add the remaining ingredients and ice cubes, and stir well. Garnish with a piece of lime and mint leaves.
