A delicious and healthy breakfast idea, perfect for convincing kids and those who aren’t fond of millet.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup millet
- 2 cups milk (cow’s milk or plant-based such as coconut or almond)
- 1 banana
- 1/2 tablespoon honey or 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- Summer fruits for serving, e.g., raspberries, blueberries, strawberries
- Raspberry syrup
Instructions
- Rinse the millet under warm water using a sieve. Place it in a saucepan, add one cup of milk, and cook over low heat, covered, for about 15 minutes until the millet absorbs all the liquid.
- Transfer the cooked millet to a blender, add the peeled banana, honey or maple syrup, and the second cup of milk. Blend until smooth to create a creamy pudding.
- Divide the pudding into deep bowls, add the summer fruits on top, and drizzle with raspberry syrup.
