This recipe only takes two ingredients and a few minutes of your time. It’s perfect for when you’re in the mood for a snack but don’t want to spend too much time in the kitchen. Best of all, they’re incredibly tasty! The combination of crunchy cheese and spicy jalapeno is irresistible.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup grated Monterey Jack cheese
- 1 medium fresh jalapeno, sliced very thin
Method of preparation:
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Spread the cheese on the baking sheet in small mounds, about a tablespoon at a time. Make sure there’s enough space between each pile as they will spread out during baking.
Place a slice of jalapeno on top of each pile of cheese.
Bake for 5-7 minutes or until the edges of the cheese are brown.
Allow the cheese to cool on the baking sheet, it will crisp up as it cools.
Once cooled, remove the cheese crisps from the baking sheet and enjoy your Jack Snacks.
