French Toast with Caramelized Apples

A buttery croissant in its original form. Fragrant pastry and sweet fruits make for a French-style breakfast.


  • Cinnamon – 0.25 teaspoon
  • Red apple – 1 piece
  • Egg – 1 piece
  • Croissant – 2 pieces
  • Vanilla sugar – 1 teaspoon
  • Honey – 1 tablespoon
  • Milk – 60 ml
  • Rapeseed oil – 2 tablespoons


Step 1: Prepare the Ingredients Mix milk, egg, and vanilla sugar thoroughly. Peel and dice the apple, removing the core. Slice the croissants.

Step 2: Fry the Toasts Dip each slice into the mixture and place on a heated pan lightly greased with oil. Fry on both sides until golden brown.

Step 3: Caramelize the Apples Heat another pan, grease with a bit of oil, and add the diced apple. Fry for about 2 minutes, then add honey and fry for another 2 minutes until the apple caramelizes.

Step 4: Serve the Toasts Serve the fried toasts with the caramelized apples. Sprinkle with a dash of cinnamon.
