French Toast in Wheat Bran Sweet Style

  • Slices of bread (3 pieces)
  • Egg (1 piece)
  • Milk (4 tablespoons)
  • Salt (a pinch)
  • Wheat bran (5 tablespoons)
  • Butter for frying (2 tablespoons)
  • Powdered sugar (1/2 tablespoon)
  • Sesame seeds (1 tablespoon)
  • Plum jam (3 tablespoons)
  • Strawberries (4 pieces)


In a bowl, beat the egg with milk and salt. Sprinkle slices of bread with powdered sugar and coat them in the egg mixture, then in wheat bran. Fry on both sides in well-heated butter until golden brown. Arrange the hot toasts on a plate, stacking them on top of each other, spreading them with plum jam, and sprinkling with sesame seeds. Arrange halved strawberries on top and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Serve hot.
