Classic Burger

Classic Burger

If you enjoy homemade fast food, I have the perfect recipe for you! Below is a recipe for delicious burgers that taste a hundred times better than those from well-known chains. For me, they’re a real blast!

Ingredients:

  • Buns: burger buns (quantity unspecified)

Additionally:

  • 600 g ground beef
  • 1 level teaspoon seasoning for minced meat
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons breadcrumbs
  • a pinch of salt and pepper
  • optionally 2-3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 100 g Halloumi cheese
  • optionally radish sprouts or iceberg lettuce
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1/2 long cucumber
  • optionally mustard-horseradish sauce

Preparation:

First, prepare the burger buns dough.

Mix ground beef (about 600-700 g) with the seasoning for minced meat, crushed garlic cloves (2-3), egg, a pinch of salt and pepper, and breadcrumbs (2 tablespoons). Form flat patties from the meat and fry them in oil on both sides until cooked through.

Slice each cooled bun in half. Optionally spread the bottom with mayonnaise, add radish sprouts or iceberg lettuce, a meat patty, a slice of tomato and cucumber, fried Halloumi cheese, a spoonful of your favorite sauce (for me, mustard-horseradish sauce), and cover with the top part of the bun. Optionally, secure with toothpicks for easy handling and eating. Enjoy your meal!
