Chicken wraps

Are you someone who loves to experiment in the kitchen? If so, this recipe is just for you! Prepare chicken in a sweet and spicy mango sauce with the addition of fresh herbs.


  • Chicken breast fillets – 800 g
  • Salt – 0.25 teaspoon
  • Black pepper – 0.25 teaspoon
  • Onion – 1 piece
  • Garlic cloves – 3 pieces
  • Chicken broth – 100 ml
  • Fresh ginger – 1 teaspoon
  • Lime – 0.5 piece
  • Fresh cilantro – 2 tablespoons
  • Chili flakes – 1 teaspoon
  • Fresh mint – 4 leaves
  • Fresh basil – 4 leaves
  • Mango – 0.25 piece
  • Tortillas – 4 pieces
  • Mango puree – 300 g


Clean and slice the chicken breasts into small, narrow pieces. Season them with salt and pepper. Heat a pan and sauté the meat until golden brown.

Finely chop the onion and garlic. Grate the ginger and lime zest using a fine grater. Sauté the onion in a deep pan. Once it becomes translucent, add the garlic, mango puree, fresh ginger, and lime zest. Mix everything. Then add the chicken broth and chili flakes. Cook the sauce for about 5-7 minutes.

Add chopped cilantro and the sautéed chicken to the sauce. Cook the dish for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens. Slice the mango into very thin slices, and finely chop the remaining herbs. Briefly heat the tortillas. Place some chicken in sauce, a few slices of mango, and fresh herbs on each tortilla. Fold the tortillas in such a way that nothing leaks out from one side, and serve the wraps with your favorite sides.
