An English recipe for a delicious dessert. Try these cardinal peaches, and you’ll want to make them again and again.
Ingredients:
- Raspberries (250 g)
- Orange liqueur or orange juice (1 tablespoon)
- Sugar (2 tablespoons)
- Ripe peaches (2-4, depending on size)
- Vanilla ice cream (4 scoops)
- Ladyfingers (4)
Preparation:
Rinse the raspberries, dry them, blend until smooth, and strain through a sieve to remove the seeds.
Mix the smooth raspberry sauce with the orange liqueur or juice and sugar.
Blanch the peaches in boiling water for about 20 seconds, then peel off the skins, cut into wedges, and remove the pits.
Scoop the ice cream into dessert bowls, add the peach wedges, and drizzle with the raspberry sauce. The original recipe suggests mixing the peaches with the raspberry sauce beforehand, but the choice is yours.
Top with ladyfingers and serve.
