These Italian pinwheels are packed with all the flavours of an Italian sub, wrapped up in the perfect starter. They’re easy to make and versatile for any occasion.
Ingredients:
- 3 large burrito-sized flour tortillas
- 15 slices salami (5-6 per tortilla)
- 15 slices pepperoni (5-6 per tortilla)
- 6 slices deli ham (2 per tortilla)
- 6 slices of provolone cheese (2 slices per tortilla)
- 3 leaves of green lettuce
- 8 ounces softened cream cheese
- 1 tablespoon Italian dressing
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon each salt and pepper
- ½ cup chopped pepperoncini
- ½ cup chopped roasted red peppers
Method of preparation:
Mix the cream cheese, pepperoncini and seasonings together until smooth.
Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the tortillas.
Layer the ingredients (salami, pepperoni, ham, provolone, lettuce and chopped peppers) on top of the cream cheese.
Roll the tortillas tightly, wrap in foil and chill.
Slice crosswise and serve!
