Pineapple Chicken Kabobs

Fire up the barbecue for Ultra Easy Pineapple Chicken Kabobs! A tropical twist on a classic favourite, this recipe combines juicy chicken with sweet pineapple and crunchy peppers. Quick to assemble and even quicker to disappear, these kabobs are perfect for a sunny day at the barbecue.

Ingredients:

  • 1 green pepper, cut into 1 inch pieces
  • ½ onion, cut into 1 inch chunks
  • ½ pound skinless, boneless chicken breast halves, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 15-ounce can pineapple chunks, drained
  • ¼ cup barbecue sauce, or to taste
  • 6 skewers

Method of preparation:

Preheat an outdoor grill to medium heat and lightly oil the grate.

Thread the green pepper, onion, chicken and pineapple chunks onto the skewers.

Brush the assembled kebabs with the barbecue sauce.

Grill the kebabs on the preheated barbecue until the chicken is no longer pink in the centre and the juices run clear, about 7 to 10 minutes per side.
