WHO: Andy Richter
BEST KNOWN AS: Former Conan O'Brien sidekick and star of sitcoms like Andy Richter Controls the Universe, Quintuplets, and the upcoming The Lunchbox Chronicles.
VIDEO: Happy Healthy Monsters, a Sesame Street exercise video for children featuring such fitness icons as Richter, Wyclef Jean, and India.Arie.
WHY NOT: While we've seen him stretch his comedic muscle, something about Richter's rotund frame doesn't seem to inspire fitness.
WHO: Angela Lansbury
BEST KNOWN AS: Doting, motherly characters like Eglantine Price in Bedknobs and Broomsticks, Jessica Fletcher in Murder, She Wrote, and the teapot in Beauty and the Beast.
VIDEO: Angela Lansbury's Positive Moves: A Personal Plan for Fitness and Well-Being at Any Age, which offers health and fitness tips for the greatest generation.
WHY NOT: With her soft voice and comforting nature, Lansbury's at her best when solving capers and imparting wisdom--not commanding you to drop and give her 20.
WHO: Regis Philbin
BEST KNOWN AS: Shoot-from-the-hip, spastic talk-show host and one of Notre Dame's more famous non-football-playing alumni.
VIDEO: Regis Philbin: My Personal Workout, which proves that the TV host is capable of maintaining his breakneck pace at all times.
WHY NOT: Watching him go a mile a minute on his morning show is workout enough.
WHO: George Foreman
BEST KNOWN AS: Two-time heavyweight champion of the world and grill-hawking entrepreneur.
VIDEO: Walk It Off With George, a collection of simple walking exercises.
WHY NOT: Championship belts aside, Foreman is known for his prodigious gut--something even those fat-zapping grills can't seem to eradicate.
WHO: Teletubbies
BEST KNOWN AS: Cuddly, nonverbal TV characters built to entertain toddlers--and, possibly, to rankle the Christian right, who claimed the brightly colored creatures were a tool of the gay liberal agenda.
VIDEO: Go! Exercise With the Teletubbies, a fun, low-impact workout for, you know, kids, led by Laa-Laa, Dipsy, Tinky Winky, and Po.
WHY NOT: Those bulbous figures aren't encouraging, even if their stomachs are embedded with television sets.
