Oh, behave. Mike Myers' randy turn in Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me led to the New Line Cinema film snaring six MTV Movie Awards nominations, tying it with Warner Bros.' The Matrix for the overall lead.

Cruel Intentions was next with five, followed by The Sixth Sense and American Pie with four apiece. Adam Sandler's Big Daddy and The Phantom Menace snared three popcorn nominations, while Oscar-winner American Beauty is in line for two tube awards.

But you won't see June 8 a clip of middle-aged Kevin Spacey and teen Mena Suvari locking lips in American Beauty. That's because movie studio DreamWorks quashed viewers' nomination of their, er, performance for best smooch. The studio wouldn't give permission for the clip to be aired, arguing it was out of contest with the movie.

That was the kiss of death. MTV buckled and threw out the nomination.
